Sellect Realty is Proud to Have the Best Atlanta Realtors
Every now and then we get moments where the agent and client just click. This is when we get to show why Sellect Realty has the best Atlanta Realtors. Jeff Howard, one of Sellect Realty’s rising star agents, recently demonstrated how we can impact our clients lives in a meaningful way. Real estate is a relationship business more than anything else and Jeff showed us by example just how he’s cultivating these relationships.
Jeff’s client, retiree on a fixed income relocating from North Carolina to Georgia, faced an uphill battle through out the purchase process. They found the perfect house and got it under contract! The house had received a fair amount of updating by the owner prior to its sale, but the Seller did not touch was the microwave. Alas, the client had accepted the property in it’s condition and would live with the eyesore of an old microwave in a kitchen full of newer appliances.
A Rough Road for the Buyer
During the sale process, the client had surgery and faced a life threatening complication. Fortunately she was okay, but it took a toll on her. Jeff was able to navigate the property through the contract and get the property to the walkthrough the day before closing. The client walked through the home the evening before it would become her home and everything looked great, except the microwave. According to Jeff, “she was just too sweet to ask for it to be replaced, but I could see it bothered her by the look in her eyes when she looked at it.” Thats when Jeff sprang the news by saying “you won’t have to look at that microwave much longer.”
A Happy Ending
His client was a bit confused with what Jeff was saying, until he explained that he would be installing a brand new stainless steel microwave to match the other appliances for her shortly after the closing. It was a heartfelt moment when Jeff, his wife Carla, and two children Alex and Ava, brought a brand new GE stainless Steel microwave to her new home. Tears were shed and the true impact of our profession was displayed prominently.
