Decatur is part of Atlanta Metropolitan area in town suburb of Atlanta. The formal motto of Decatur is places of worship, schools, and homes. Decatur was originated between connections of two Native American Trails which are Sand town and Shallowford. The total area of Decatur is around 11km square.
