Initially, the north Georgia state fair used to be a livestock fair to represent the lifestyle of the people at Cob County. However, 84 years later and having seen the industrial revolution in Georgia, the festival has been transformed into a fun fair to represent the modern state of the locals.\r\n\r\nNorth Georgia state fair – A Tourist Attraction:\r\n\r\nThe 84th annual fair of North Georgia is taking place from 22nd September to 2nd October. It is the biggest fair in Georgia and is commonly known as North Georgia state fair. \r\nThere is a special day at festival dedicated to older citizens of US. It is named Hero’s day and celebrated to honor the senior citizens (aged over 55) of the country. These are the people from all forms of life – from being an active government servant to firefighters, law enforcement and retired military veterans. They are allowed free entry on this day and relish the festival.\r\n\r\nAccording to Tod Miller – the fair manager, “this day is celebrated to say thanks to the heroes of our nation who served, or are still serving our country in the best way possible.
